CityStructure Design is an award winning architectural studio founded by Felicia Nitu in 2011. Our studio engages a diverse range of work, from designing residential interiors and houses to retail and medical spaces as well as product design. CityStructure Design’s core design philosophy is to create spaces through an emphatic understanding of the clients goals. Together with them we explore overlaps between space, program, form, budget and materials.
Felicia Nitu is a graduate of Parsons the New School in New York, where she received her Master in Architecture. Her interest in the energy efficient design got her involved in the award-winning team of Solar Decathlon 2011 building by designing and building a passive house. Felicia sees cities as places where buildings talk to each other and there’s a permanent dialogue between the building and the street. Buildings have allow people to share experiences together, to enjoy and create shared experiences. Speaking together is a form of acceptance and the beginning of tolerance, which is the key of civic life.
